Paula Marchetti, MPAS, PA-C | Integrative Primary Care
Since the beginning of my 26 year medical career, I've realized that the best medical outcomes have come from an integration of traditional Western medicine and holistic methods. While there certainly remains a role for traditional medicine for many people, I believe that the incorporation of functional and holistic methods results in overall improved outcomes. While my background has largely been in practices that have emphasized Western medicine, I've finally found a home at Capital Integrative Health wherein I can practice both schools of care.
I bring to CIH an extensive medical career including 17 years of outpatient internal medicine experience, 7 years as an internal medicine hospital based PA and 2 years as a gastroenterology specialty PA. As a hospitalist I worked firsthand with both Drs. Wong and Delistathis. I developed a tremendous respect for both of them as superb clinicians who have the ability to see the patient from a holistic perspective. We all agree that to achieve well being requires a multi-disciplined approach.
In my spare time I enjoy travel, cycling, weight lifting, and oil painting.
