Negative emotions and physical pain create blockages that disrupt the flow of energy in the body. By gently tapping on certain meridian points with our fingertips while calling attention to the discomforting thoughts and feelings, we break up or significantly dissipate the blockages and restore balance in the body. This takes the body/mind from the stress response of fight/flight/freeze to the relaxation response easily, effectively, and often quickly.
