What is mindfulness?
Have you ever noticed moments of the day you’re lost in thought, running on automatic pilot? Moments when you're not feeling fully present, alive or satisfied -- maybe even with an underlying feeling of anxiety and stress?
 
With mindfulness training we learn to step back, pause, and see what’s happening in our experience very clearly. In short, we see we have a choice. We learn to respond purposefully, rather than in a usual less effective reactionary manner.
 
Gentle Mindful-Movement
When the body is supple and relaxed, it’s easier for the mind to relax. This class will include gentle breathing practice and stretching exercises designed to strengthen and relax the body. All exercises are done from a standing position.
 
No experience is necessary!
This class is led by Craig Ehrlich, Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, with over 20 years of experience teaching Tai Chi and Qigong.
