Massage Therapy & Integrative Bodywork
Restore optimal function and release pain and tension by mobilizing restricted soft tissues and returning the nervous system to a state of balance. The purpose of integrative bodywork is to restore you to your optimal level of function and well-being. This manual therapy draws from a variety of modalities to mobilize restricted soft tissue and release pain-causing patterns. Because we know that our everyday immune capacity is strongly linked to our body and mind's ability to go into states of relaxation, this work also focuses on restoring the central nervous system’s ability to deeply relax and release long held tension. Integrative bodywork draws on the wisdom and teachings of CranioSacral Therapy, myofascial mobilization, Somatic Experiencing, mindfulness practices, and traditional healing massage.
This treatment uses traditional Thai techniques to create space in the body through carefully applied stretches. Thai massage emphasizes harmony, giving you energy and reestablishing balance. During the session, the client relaxes on the table while the therapist uses her body weight (including hands, feet, and knees) to provide an invigorating and comprehensive experience. The client will leave feeling refreshed.
Reiki is an energetic healing modality utilizing light touch or hands-off healing. People experience it as deeply calming and balancing, assisting the recipients inner ability to heal physically, mentally, and spiritually.
